After you've downloaded this amazing app from Dylan's website, install the app on your computer. We'll use this to make the plugin installation process SUPER simple. Also be sure to check out all of Dylan's other amazing apps and plugins that he has available on his site.
All you have to do is follow the instructions in Dylan's app open the ZIP file that you downloaded for CrystalGlass.zip and simply install the template with the Final Cut Pro Plugin Installer. AND THAT'S IT! YOU'RE DONE! ... Yeah it's that easy!
MANUAL INSTALLATION
After downloading the plugin, follow these steps to install it in to your version of Final Cut Pro.
Navigate to your user folder on your mac. This is usually the username you use to sign in to your mac.
Double click on the Movies folder.
Double click on the Motion Templates folder.
This is an Effect plugin so double click on the Titles folder.
Unzip the CrystalGlass.zip folder that you downloaded in this folder.
You should now see a folder named Emberdyn in this Titles folder.
Now open final cut pro.
Check your titles panel and look for the Emberdyn folder.
You should see Crystal Glass available now in your titles.
Drag the title over top of your clips in your timeline like you would any other title.
You can also adjust any of the prebuilt Published Parameters that come with the title.
